Many people wonder about what exactly spirituality means? For many it is tie with Divine, for others it is just prayers. Many think it is a synonym for religion and for some it is exodus from materialistic world. However, it’s very difficult to define spirituality in a word or a sentence. It is that which lies beyond the material world of evidence,

beyond what can be measured or calculated. It is the made up of the realm of belief, mystery and faith that is united with inner self and inner life.

Spirituality is vital to our well-being and is the groundwork of trust and hope. It actually brings purpose and meaning to our life and as it is developed within an entity, love and wisdom grow up there concurrently. A new experience of connection to life and a deep reverence for the Divine are two immortal rewards of Spirituality to humankind. It is not only the medium of uniting with your soul but also a path to edify your ego-centered lives. Spirituality can also inflate your heart with compassion toward all. It is such a stream of water that if once touched or experienced, you just cannot defy yourself to refrain from it, thus allowing yourself to flow with the deluge forever.

As mentioned before, many folks misinterpret spirituality as religion which is not the reality of course. Undoubtedly, religion and spirituality are allied and interweaved but certainly are not the same. Religion tends to nurture and expand our spirituality; however it can sometimes be a blockade when it insists on a narrow and hypercritical doctrine, which alienates its followers from a sense of correlation with God. So, spirituality in itself is a separate component that awakens you from the slumber of mirage.

It is said, “We are not physical human beings having spiritual experience but spiritual human beings having physical experience.” Spirituality in that way is a true essence of life that expels our self in front of our own-self; crafting a sturdy bond with our soul that ultimately connects to Divine. It actually fetches a broader outlook to our lives and makes us experience true and eternal ecstasy. So, step forward and embrace spirituality and embark on a voyage towards spiritual awakening!
