Many of the girls are taught that sex is not a high priority, but still when it comes to sex, the first thing that comes to mind is enjoyment. Sex is an activity which every girl wants to experience as she goes through the tender age known as teenage. Thus, in excitement girls tend to forget about safe sex, where condom can be their best friend. So here are a few tips to consider before getting busy
- Always say no to unprotected sex. Insist your guy to put on a condom before indulging. You should always make sure that your guy’s sex organ is completely wrapped up in condom before it’s near your vagina. Sexually transmitted diseases (STD’s) spread through infected body fluids as well as infected skin. Thus, if sex is performed without a condom, the penis will rub against your vagina which will increase the chances of any possible STD’s.
- If your guy cringes on putting a condom, you always have the option of using a female condom instead. Female condom is a little pouch which has a small ring at one end and a larger ring on other end. Line up your vagina with the condom material; just insert the small ring and the pouch into your vagina with the bigger open end hanging out at the bottom. There are a few people who have latex allergies; thus, female condoms can prevent it as they are made of polyurethane.
- Don’t keep condoms in your purse, glove compartments etc. It is good to be prepared but avoid carrying condoms indefinitely. When you carry condoms with you, they are exposed to extreme temperatures, they can also get crushed in your purse and can break while using. So, carry the condoms if you have decided to have sex.
- Not only men complain about using condoms, girls too complain of not liking them, as the condoms irritate the vagina. So, instead of having unprotected sex, go for unlubricated condoms. Also, combine it with K-Y jelly or any other water-based lubricant.
- Condoms reduce the chances of getting an STD, but it doesn’t eliminate completely. Thus, even if you’re using the best condom, you may contract a disease. Thus, get periodic STD screenings.
If your partner is shying away from using condom, use a female condom yourself to prevent STDs.
